Monica Miller Prabhu is the founder and executive director of the Methane Mitigation Industries Council (MMIC). Prior to starting the MMIC she spent two decades in the private sector.
Most recently she led operations, communications and fundraising at a methane mitigation technology startup working on solutions for hard-to-abate methane emissions with cross-sector applications. Through that work she developed an understanding of the dynamics at play across the methane mitigation industry and relationships with industry leaders and stakeholders.
Before methane mitigation Monica was a senior communications strategist for innovative technology brands.
Born and raised in Alaska, she was educated in Atlanta, has lived in Bolivia and New York City, and currently resides with her family in the SF Bay Area.
